Google announced the global availability of Gemini 4 Argon, a frontier model designed to address complex, real-world tasks across coding, finance, legal, cybersecurity, and science. The model is accessible via API in AI Studio and the Gemini platform, as well as through Google AI Ultra subscriptions in Antigravity and the Gemini app. Argon is positioned to outperform other frontier models on benchmarks, including ranking #1 on the Vals Index, which evaluates performance in critical economic sectors such as finance, coding, legal, and tax work.

At Isomorphic Labs, Argon is accelerating drug discovery workflows by synthesizing complex PDFs and patents to extract pertinent information, reducing processes that typically take weeks to hours. Researchers and security specialists are leveraging Argon to autonomously audit codebases, test cybersecurity hypotheses, and identify subtle vulnerabilities. The model is also being used to reconstruct 3D models of Chaco Canyon from fragmented archaeological records, including LiDAR scans, GIS vectors, and CAD drawings.

Google is expanding access to Argon through its Fairwind Program, with Wiz already utilizing the model for its 'Scan for Good' initiative to protect critical infrastructure. Additionally, Google is offering 10,000 scientists the highest usage tier in Google Antigravity free of charge for six months, subject to eligibility and capacity. Applications for this tier are now open, aiming to further advance research across multiple domains.
