Cloud Deployment Incoming: ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’ Arrives on GeForce NOW
GeForce NOW adds six new titles this week, including *Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4* at launch, with enhanced ray-tracing support for Ultimate members and new Fire TV Stick purchase options.
NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW will host *Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4* at launch, offering members access to its campaign, multiplayer, and DMZ extraction mode across supported devices. The campaign receives an upgraded visual experience for Ultimate members, featuring ray-tracing capabilities powered by GeForce RTX 5080-class cloud performance. Players can engage in missions set in Korea, New York, Paris, Mumbai, and other global locations, with Private Park and Captain Price leading the narrative. The multiplayer mode includes 6v6 maps and a DMZ mode where players extract valuable technology under high-stakes conditions.
*Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4* is the headline addition to GeForce NOW’s library this week, alongside Square Enix’s *FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE* and *The Elder Scrolls Online*’s Echoes of Skyrim Season. Ultimate members can stream the campaign with ray tracing, while Fire TV Stick users gain a new in-app purchase option through Amazon for Performance or Ultimate memberships. The library now includes thousands of games, with no downloads or installs required, and support for platforms including PCs, Macs, handhelds, and browsers.
Square Enix’s *FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE* debuts on GeForce NOW, blending classic pixel-art aesthetics with strategic turn-based combat and cinematic storytelling. Players assemble a party of characters, each with unique abilities, to uncover a looming threat to the world. The game features dynamic camera angles, pixelized 3D models, and familiar series elements like airships, crystals, and espers. GeForce NOW handles cloud storage and downloads, freeing up local device space for other uses.
*The Elder Scrolls Online*’s Echoes of Skyrim Season is now available free for Standard Edition owners, adding the Greymoor Chapter and the Antiquities system to the cloud library. The season introduces Solo Dungeons, redesigned for solo play, and includes the Markarth DLC on Nov. 9. A new Tamriel Tome offers free and premium battle pass tracks, with all content streamable via GeForce NOW. Games are added to the service after their store releases, with availability updates posted throughout the week on GeForce NOW channels.
