The bout saw both fighters trade techniques early, with Dedduanglek landing an elbow attack after pinning Kongsuk near the turnbuckle in the first round. Neither fighter landed significant strikes until the second round, where Dedduanglek began countering kicks with punches, leaving Kongsuk off-balance at times.

Round two saw both fighters continue exchanging kicks, with Dedduanglek breaking the stalemate by catching kicks and countering with punches.
