Austrian fighter Stella Hemetsberger successfully defended her ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title at ONE Fight Night 46 in Bangkok on August 14. She defeated Natalia Diachkova by technical knockout in the third round, extending her unbeaten streak in the promotion. Hemetsberger, who also holds the ONE Women’s Strawweight Kickboxing World Title, became the first athlete to hold both titles simultaneously in the same weight class.
The bout began cautiously as both fighters tested each other’s reactions before Diachkova landed a boxing combination that caught Hemetsberger’s attention. The Austrian responded with kicks, but Diachkova capitalized on one, sweeping her to the canvas to close the first round. Hemetsberger adjusted in the second, using her jab and clinch work to neutralize Diachkova’s advances while landing right hands.
The decisive moment arrived in the third round when Hemetsberger targeted Diachkova’s liver with a left kick, visibly hurting her. After Diachkova turned away, Hemetsberger followed with the same kick and then finished with a three-punch combination and a knee. The referee stopped the fight at 1:46 of the round, confirming Hemetsberger’s dominant victory.
Hemetsberger’s win further solidified her reputation as one of the top female strikers in combat sports. She improved her professional record to 11-1 and earned a $50,000 bonus for her performance at ONE Fight Night 46. The victory marked her first title defense in Muay Thai since winning the belt in March 2024.
