Lords of the End Times is 'not the end' for Total War: Warhammer: 'You can't get rid of us that easily'

Senior Game Director Richard Aldridge and Associate Design Director Sean Macdonald emphasized that Total War: Warhammer remains far from finished, despite the conclusion of the Warhammer Fantasy setting. They highlighted the potential for additional content, including smaller lord packs like the recently announced Bhashiva DLC, which introduces original characters and units. The developers also suggested that future updates may explore factions such as Ind and Khuresh, though no confirmations were provided.

The Bhashiva DLC serves as a prototype for future smaller-scale releases, focusing on legendary lords and heroes rather than full-fledged factions. Aldridge described these packs as opportunities to introduce "odd crazy units" and expand the game’s roster incrementally. While no new races are guaranteed, the developers indicated that map expansions could still flesh out existing regions like Ind and Khuresh, which are already present on the Immortal Empires map.

Creative Assembly has previously expanded lore for regions such as Cathay in Total War: Warhammer 3, and the team expressed interest in doing the same for Ind, where Bhashiva originates. The developers emphasized that their ability to create original content depends on Games Workshop’s approval, though they have demonstrated success in this area before.
