Amazon Web Services announced the general availability of OpenAI’s GPT-6 Astra on Amazon Bedrock, positioning it as the latest and most capable model from OpenAI to date. The model introduces deeper reasoning and judgment capabilities alongside professional-quality writing and design outputs, tailored for demanding business workflows. It supports a context window of up to 1 million input tokens, enabling analysis of extensive document collections and complex software investigations with high precision.
GPT-6 Astra aligns output with organizational voice, templates, and standards, ensuring consistency across business applications. The Amazon Bedrock inference engine provides the necessary performance, security, and scalability for production workloads, supporting direct API calls or integration with ChatGPT Work and Codex. Users can deploy the model to build autonomous agents and applications requiring judgment across competing inputs.
OpenAI introduced new enterprise plugins for ChatGPT Work that extend Astra’s browser-use capabilities across common business applications.
