ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) celebrated its 20th anniversary at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne with a themed booth showcasing heritage and future ambitions. Visitors encountered anniversary installations, interactive exhibits, and the Edition 20 collection, which includes special products like the ROG XBOX Ally X20 handheld and ROG Zephyrus Duo laptop. The displays highlighted ROG’s evolution from PC hardware into a broader ecosystem of technology, lifestyle products, and community experiences.
The anniversary lineup featured the ROG XBOX Ally X20, a translucent black handheld with gold accents, and the ROG Zephyrus Duo, a flagship gaming laptop emphasizing innovation in form factors. Esports remained central to the celebration, with new hardware such as the ROG Gladius IV Ace mouse and ROG Ace OLED monitors on display. ROG also expanded its esports partnerships, including a collaboration with GamerLegion, and hosted live competitions featuring Team Vitality.
A key announcement was the selection of the ROG Esports OLED 720Hz monitor as the official display for the PGL CS2 Major Singapore 2026, marking the first Counter-Strike Major played on OLED technology. Developed with input from professional players, the monitor offers high motion clarity and response times, aligning with competitive gaming demands. The achievement underscores ROG’s collaborative approach to product development based on real-world esports feedback.
Gamescom attendees experienced hands-on demos of upcoming titles including Minecraft Dungeons II, PRAGMATA, and Resident Evil Requiem on ROG hardware. The booth also hosted community activities, celebrity appearances by Alan Walker and Ned Luke, and a charity initiative with SpecialEffect. The event reinforced ROG’s role as both a hardware innovator and a community-driven brand.
