ASUS DisplayWidget Center Adds AI Agent Controls
ASUS updates DisplayWidget Center with AI-driven automation, natural-language controls, and expanded device integration for Windows, macOS, and gaming monitors.
ASUS has released a major update to its DisplayWidget Center software, introducing AI-based automation and deeper personalization features for compatible ASUS and ROG displays. The update allows users to control monitor settings via natural-language commands through AI agents, eliminating the need for manual menu navigation. Compatible monitors can now adjust brightness, color temperature, and OLED Anti-Flicker settings automatically based on user habits or time of day. The software supports Windows 11 or later and macOS on compatible devices and is available as a free download from the ASUS website.
The update includes two new AI-powered features: AI Visual, which automatically applies optimal visual modes by analyzing on-screen content in real time, and AI Assistant, which supports text and voice input for adjusting display settings and accessing product FAQs. Additional enhancements include App Tweaker for creating personalized display profiles per application and OLED Care tools such as Boundary Detection, Outer Dimming Control, and Pixel Cleaning to reduce image retention risks and support long-term panel maintenance.
Gamers benefit from direct GamePlus access and OSD menu control via keyboard hotkeys or supported controllers, while creators can use ColorSync to maintain consistent color settings across multiple identical displays. macOS users with compatible monitors can adjust brightness using laptop keys, and ZenScreen users gain Auto Rotation for seamless orientation switching. Business and daily users receive new Eye Care tools like Blue Light Filter, Color Augmentation, and Rest Reminder to improve comfort during extended screen time.
The update also expands DisplayWidget Center’s role as a unified control center across the ASUS display ecosystem. Users can now manage virtual display settings and spatial layouts for ROG XREAL R1 Gaming AR Glasses, as well as function keys and color calibration for the ProArt CaliContrO MCA02 calibrator. The software now supports multi-monitor management, keyboard hotkeys, and deployment through endpoint-management platforms like Microsoft Intune for IT environments.
