Babcock International and defence engineering firm Supacat have concluded production of the Jackal 3 family, with the final six-wheeled Extenda variant rolling off the line in Devonport, Plymouth. The programme delivered 123 vehicles in total, including 70 standard Jackal 3 models and 53 Extenda variants, all designed for high-mobility roles such as reconnaissance, patrol and logistics. Phil Applegarth, Supacat’s Director, echoed these sentiments, noting the combined expertise of both companies in designing and manufacturing the latest Jackal variants.
