A Masterclass on What You Need to Run Digital Assets at Scale
Fireblocks’ Pulse Masterclass outlined infrastructure tools for businesses running digital assets at scale, focusing on security, compliance, and growth-stage needs such as embedded wallets and native swapping.
Fireblocks hosted a Pulse Masterclass webinar to address the operational challenges faced by businesses managing digital assets at scale, including payouts across multiple blockchains, embedded wallet issuance, and regulatory compliance. The session emphasized the evolving market context where digital assets are increasingly integrated into traditional finance, requiring robust infrastructure to balance protection and growth. Key themes included managing operational risk through configuration controls and maintaining audit-ready records, with tools like Fireblocks Security Posture Management (FSPM) designed to flag and address policy drift in real time.
Finance teams face additional hurdles due to the lack of audit-ready blockchain data, prompting Fireblocks’ acquisition of TRES Finance. TRES aggregates data from over 280 sources, reconciles transactions, and applies cost basis methodologies while complying with GAAP, IFRS, and holding SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II certifications. This integration ensures financial clarity for auditors and regulators, bridging the gap between traditional finance systems and onchain activity.
For growth-stage businesses, Fireblocks introduced embedded wallet solutions and direct custody infrastructure to abstract blockchain complexity. Features like Dynamic embedded wallets allow users to interact with applications without managing keys, while Fireblocks Flow enables gasless transactions and seamless asset conversions across Solana and EVM chains. The Magic Spend flow further simplifies asset movement between custody and embedded wallets, ensuring scalability without sacrificing governance or auditability.
To support high-volume operations, Fireblocks expanded native capabilities such as batch approvals, which allow approvers to process up to ten transfers in a single action without compromising security policies. Additional features include native swapping, cross-chain bridging, and integrated DeFi yield access via Aave and Morpho, all governed by policy. Staking support now includes ETH validator connectivity through ETH Link, with every operation—from staking to unwinding—managed within the platform’s policy framework.
