Williams team principal James Vowles praised Albon as one of the best drivers on the grid, highlighting his adaptability in both strong and weak car performances.
Albon’s contract included clauses allowing him to leave at the end of 2026, but he ultimately chose to stay after evaluating the market. His management team found no clearly superior alternative, making Williams the most viable option despite current struggles.
