NVIDIA GeForce NOW on Firefox for Windows

NVIDIA has officially launched GeForce NOW support for Firefox on Windows, fulfilling years of user requests. The service allows players to stream more than 2,000 PC games directly from their browser, eliminating the need for downloads, installations, or hardware upgrades. This integration follows months of collaboration between Mozilla and NVIDIA to ensure compatibility and performance. Users only require a Windows PC and a browser to access high-performance gaming.

The announcement enables GeForce NOW Ultimate members to experience gameplay at up to 1440p resolution and 120 frames per second. Andrew Fear, Director of NVIDIA GeForce NOW, highlighted the partnership’s goal of meeting GeForce NOW’s high standards for browser support. Firefox was selected for its ability to deliver a first-class experience, offering gamers a new way to stream their favorite titles without switching browsers.

Firefox emphasizes customization and multitasking, allowing users to personalize their browser with themes, colors, and tab settings. The browser supports split-screen workflows, enabling gamers to run Discord calls, guides, or social media alongside their games. This flexibility allows players to transition seamlessly between gaming and other tasks without leaving the browser, enhancing convenience for online gaming sessions.

Firefox users can now access their existing PC game libraries from platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Xbox PC Game Pass, and Ubisoft Connect. Ajit Varma, Head of Firefox, described the partnership as a milestone, combining NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service with Firefox’s privacy-focused and flexible browser.
