Broken Mirror Games operates as a co-development label under Bloober Team, which was established in 2008 and is recognized for titles like Blair Witch, Layers of Fear, and the Silent Hill 2 remake. Since its announcement in 2024, the imprint has released Star Trek: Infection and I Hate This Place. Smektala’s appointment follows nearly four years in his previous role at Techland, where he oversaw the studio’s franchise portfolio.
