Bohemia Interactive acquires minority stake in Everwind developer Enjoy Studio
Bohemia Interactive has taken a minority stake in Polish studio Enjoy Studio, the developer behind Everwind, marking its first investment in a Polish game company.
Bohemia Interactive, known for titles like DayZ and Arma, has acquired a minority stake in Enjoy Studio, the Polish developer behind the sandbox survival RPG Everwind. The deal follows a two-year collaboration through Bohemia’s Incubator program, which supports early-stage studios. Enjoy Studio’s Everwind entered early access in late 2024 and has since sold over 300,000 copies, demonstrating the team’s commercial potential.
The investment represents Bohemia’s first financial involvement with a Polish game studio, though the exact value of the deal was not disclosed. Bohemia emphasized that the move reflects confidence in Enjoy Studio’s broader talent rather than a focus on a single project. The partnership began when Enjoy Studio joined Bohemia’s Incubator program in 2024, evolving into a closer collaboration over time.
Bohemia Interactive co-founder and CEO Marek Španěl highlighted the shared values and approaches between the two studios as a key factor in the decision. He noted that Everwind’s success validated the team’s capabilities, but the investment signals long-term trust in Enjoy Studio’s entire workforce. The partnership aims to combine Bohemia’s publishing expertise with Enjoy Studio’s creative vision.
Enjoy Studio CEO Michał Baraniak stated the deal will provide a stable foundation for the studio’s future growth. The collaboration underscores Bohemia’s strategy of fostering partnerships with emerging studios to expand its portfolio and support innovative projects.
