Google announced the general availability of Antigravity within its Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, addressing customer feedback by integrating the AI coding agent directly into eligible subscriptions. The service now includes administrative controls, license management, and spend tracking, eliminating the need for separate billing consoles or security settings. Developers can access Antigravity through IDE extensions for Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, JetBrains, and Zed, as well as via a desktop app and CLI, streamlining adoption across existing workflows.

Administrators gain granular cost controls, including monthly project-level budget caps, pooled token quotas to prevent idle resources, and optional overage management with monthly spend limits. Centralized usage metrics provide visibility into token consumption, API calls, and developer activity, enabling organizations to optimize AI investments. Security and compliance features include configurable policies, comprehensive audit logging, and data privacy protections under Google Cloud’s terms, ensuring agents operate within authorized enterprise environments.

Antigravity is now accessible across multiple surfaces, including IDEs like VS Code and JetBrains, the Antigravity 2.0 desktop app, and the Antigravity CLI. Native support for Workforce Identity Federation and Application Default Credentials simplifies authentication while enforcing corporate identity standards. The platform aims to balance developer productivity with enterprise governance, offering a unified experience for coding, automation, and task execution.
