Google Cloud is expanding billing flexibility for AI agent workloads in Gemini Enterprise and developer tools like Google Antigravity and Android Studio. Organizations can now mix per-user subscriptions with a pay-as-you-go option, avoiding quota limits mid-task. This change aims to provide clearer cost visibility and adaptable payment models for teams with varying AI usage patterns. The updates are designed to help businesses manage budgets while scaling AI adoption.
Developers using Google Antigravity and Android Studio will see their AI usage consolidated under a single Gemini Enterprise subscription, eliminating separate billing silos. Usage across these tools and the platform will roll up into one view, simplifying financial tracking. The pooled quota system allows business apps, developer tools, and custom agents to share daily allowances, maximizing resource efficiency. Admins can control overages and set hard monthly caps to prevent unexpected budget spikes.
Flexible Savings Plans offer discounts of 10% for 1-year or 20% for 3-year commitments on monthly spending, with no minimum or maximum spend requirements. These plans integrate with existing Google Cloud Enterprise Agreements, providing dedicated budget control without fragmenting broader cloud commitments. The savings apply to steady or growing AI workloads, helping organizations reduce token costs while maintaining budget flexibility.
The updates also include off-peak capacity options for deferred agent workloads, reducing inference costs by up to half and bypassing standard quota limits. Google Antigravity in Gemini Enterprise and Android Studio now includes agentic coding capabilities for eligible customers, with pooled developer tool quotas available across entire Google Cloud projects. These changes aim to align costs with actual usage while supporting technical teams with advanced AI tools.
