Score (SN44) is a Bittensor subnet building an open, permissionless computer vision layer, designed to reduce the cost and time required for complex video analysis.

Kraken has opened trading for SN44, the native token of the Score subnet in the Bittensor ecosystem. Users can deposit SN44 by selecting the asset under Funding and transferring tokens via supported networks. Deposits made through unsupported networks will result in lost funds, as Kraken cannot recover tokens sent incorrectly. The Score subnet aims to reduce costs and processing time for computer vision tasks by distributing video analysis across a decentralized network of contributors.

Traditional computer vision systems rely on centralized infrastructure and heavy computational resources for verification, whereas Score employs a lightweight validation method to maintain accuracy while minimizing overhead. The subnet’s initial application is Game State Recognition in sports, particularly football, where it automates event and player movement detection. Its architecture is designed to support broader visual detection tasks, including public safety, retail monitoring, and road signage analysis.

SN44 serves as the token for coordinating participation and accessing Score’s analytical services within the Bittensor network. Miners contribute computational resources to process and annotate visual data, while validators independently verify the accuracy and speed of these contributions. The network’s decentralized model contrasts with conventional systems that require significant upfront investment in infrastructure.

Score is developed by Vision Research Foundation, though Kraken has not disclosed additional details about future asset listings. All available tokens on Kraken can be viewed on its platform, and future listings will be announced via the Listings Roadmap and social media. Kraken’s client engagement team will not provide insights into potential future listings.
