To help startups navigate this phase, Meta is launching Meta Startup School, a three-month programme designed to equip early-stage consumer brands with platform education, expert guidance and hands-on support to accelerate growth and scale.

Meta is launching Meta Startup School, a three-month programme aimed at early-stage consumer brands in India seeking to transition from initial traction to sustainable growth. The initiative will offer platform education, expert guidance, and hands-on support to help startups leverage Meta’s advertising and AI-powered tools effectively. Gaurav Jeet Singh, Director for Agencies and VC Partnerships at Meta India, emphasized the importance of tools, knowledge, and guidance for startups at this critical stage.

The first cohort, starting September 1, 2026, will support 200 early-stage consumer brands across funding stages. Eligible businesses must not be directly managed by Meta or working with an agency, and should be leveraging Meta’s platforms to scale revenue. The programme combines structured learning with practical support to strengthen participants’ understanding of Meta’s tools and develop effective growth strategies.

Participating startups will gain access to the broader startup ecosystem, including venture capital firms such as Fireside Ventures, DSG Consumer Partners, and V3 Ventures in the first cohort. Additional venture capital firms are expected to join as the programme evolves. The initiative aims to create ongoing opportunities for startups to learn from experts, industry specialists, and venture capitalists.

Meta Startup School builds on the company’s commitment to supporting India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by enabling businesses to leverage digital tools for growth. The programme seeks to help emerging businesses build the knowledge and capabilities needed to move from early traction toward sustainable, scalable growth. Applications for the first cohort are open via the Meta Startup School programme page.
