Notion 3.7: Agent skills for your whole team

Notion 3.7 allows teams to convert effective AI prompting techniques into reusable skills that can be shared across the workspace. These skills act as standardized instructions for repetitive tasks, such as generating monthly reviews or critiquing documents in a consistent format. Previously, such expertise often remained confined to individuals or scattered documents, but now teams can centralize these skills in a dedicated library for easy access and updates.

The update introduces a skills library where teams can store, organize, and share skills within a Notion database. This ensures everyone uses the latest version of each skill, reducing duplication and maintaining consistency. Skills can be deployed manually or set to run automatically, with options to integrate them directly into Notion Agent chats for immediate use in documents or workflows.

Notion 3.7 expands tool integrations, allowing teams to connect agents to external platforms like GitHub and Amplitude via Custom MCP connections. These integrations enable agents to retrieve context, monitor performance, or take actions within tools teams already use. Confirmations are required before any changes are made, ensuring control over automated workflows, and the feature is available in beta on Business and Enterprise plans.

The update also enhances mobile and multi-agent capabilities. The Notion Agents iOS app enables users to manage agents on the go, while Custom Agents can now delegate tasks to sub-agents, creating complex workflows. Post-meeting automation is another addition, where agents can handle follow-up tasks like writing recaps or filing action items. Additionally, teams gain access to frontier models such as Opus 5 and GPT-5.6 Sol, with a redesigned model picker and a Knowledge Board for performance evaluation.
