GeForce NOW Gives Gamers More Ways to Play at Gamescom 2026
NVIDIA announced at Gamescom 2026 new features for GeForce NOW, including DLSS 4.5 controls, Steam Machine support, GOG single sign-on, Firefox compatibility, and expanded Amazon Fire TV device support. Five major PC games will launch on the service, with a limited-time offer for Ultimate members.
NVIDIA unveiled updates to GeForce NOW at Gamescom 2026, introducing NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 controls that allow Ultimate members to adjust image quality, latency, and ray-traced visuals in supported games. The new controls, including Super Resolution, Dynamic Frame Generation, and Ray Reconstruction, enable users to balance performance and visual fidelity without requiring the latest hardware. These features will roll out this fall alongside RTX-powered cloud gaming improvements.
GeForce NOW is expanding device compatibility with support for Steam Machine controllers later this fall, followed by Windows and macOS integration. GOG single sign-on has been added, letting members link accounts once to stream supported titles directly from TV platforms without repeated logins. Firefox browser support now allows cloud gaming on Windows without downloading a dedicated app, with Ultimate members able to stream at up to 1440p and 120 fps.
Amazon Fire TV support is expanding to include the Fire TV Stick 4K Select, enabling cloud gaming on additional devices. Later this year, Fire TV users will be able to purchase GeForce NOW memberships directly through Amazon, streamlining the setup process. These additions build on existing Fire TV compatibility, offering more ways to access RTX-powered cloud gaming from the couch using familiar hardware.
Five highly anticipated PC games will launch on GeForce NOW at Gamescom 2026: CONTROL Resonant, Gears of War: E-Day, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, The Blood of Dawnwalker, and STAR WARS Zero Company. A limited-time offer provides Ultimate members with CONTROL Resonant at no extra cost when purchasing a 12-month membership between August 25 and September 27. Ultimate members will experience these titles with GeForce RTX 5080-class performance, including DLSS 4, ray tracing, and up to 5K HDR streaming.
