ONE SAMURAI 4 – Results And Video Highlights For Every Fight

ONE Championship will conclude a tripleheader with ONE SAMURAI 4, broadcast live from Ariake Arena in Tokyo on October 17. The card includes a main event where ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion Jonathan Haggerty defends his title against Hiroki Akimoto in Akimoto’s home country. The co-main event sees ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Nadaka Yoshinari face Rifdean Masdor in an attempt to extend his 42-fight unbeaten streak. The event also features a ONE SAMURAI Featherweight Kickboxing Tournament semifinal bout, adding further stakes to the evening’s lineup.

Jonathan Haggerty, the reigning ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion, will put his belt on the line against Hiroki Akimoto in the main event. Akimoto, a former titleholder, returns to challenge Haggerty in Tokyo, where the hometown crowd is expected to rally behind him. The bout marks Haggerty’s first title defense since capturing the championship earlier in the year. The stakes are high as Haggerty seeks to prove his dominance in a region where kickboxing holds deep cultural significance.

Nadaka Yoshinari, the ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion, will step into the co-main event against Rifdean Masdor. Yoshinari enters with a 42-bout unbeaten streak and aims to extend it in front of his home crowd in Tokyo. The Malaysian contender Rifdean Masdor presents a formidable challenge, seeking to halt Yoshinari’s momentum. This bout is a chance for Yoshinari to showcase his skill and resilience in a high-pressure environment.

The card also includes a ONE SAMURAI Featherweight Kickboxing Tournament semifinal bout, adding a competitive layer to the event. Additionally, a Hall of Fame ceremony will honor Japanese martial arts icon Takeru Segawa, recognizing his contributions to the sport. Fans can access live results and video highlights from all MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and submission grappling matches following the event.
