Stampli cuts launch hours by 68% using ChatGPT Work
Stampli used OpenAI’s Codex and ChatGPT Work to accelerate the launch of its Deep Finance product, reducing production time by 68% while maintaining human oversight.
Stampli, an intelligent procure-to-pay platform, launched its Deep Finance product within six weeks using OpenAI’s Codex and ChatGPT Work. The team compressed an estimated 243 hours of work into 77 hours, completing tasks such as a seven-part blog series, launch emails, webinar materials, and sales enablement content. Design resources were already committed elsewhere, making the accelerated timeline critical for meeting the fixed deadline.
The Deep Finance launch involved parallel work across product development, design, communications, and operations. Stampli’s marketing team used Codex to integrate product context, meeting notes, and messaging guidelines into a shared system. Codex also generated 90% of a hero animation before a contractor finalized the opening scene, demonstrating its role in streamlining creative production while preserving quality.
Before adopting OpenAI tools, Stampli’s product marketing team spent significant time gathering and updating product information from systems like Jira, GitHub, and meeting notes. The new GPT-powered system automates much of this process, enabling the team to produce content at scale. Melad Zahedi, Director of Product Marketing, noted that the tools have multiplied the team’s output by 10x, allowing them to generate hundreds of pieces of content weekly compared to just a few previously.
ChatGPT Work serves as a productivity multiplier for Stampli’s teams, helping employees retrieve and analyze data in real time during meetings. Zahedi described using the tool as a “second brain” to stay prepared and efficient. The time saved has shifted the team’s focus from reconstructing context to advising leadership on strategy. Stampli is now exploring how to apply this AI-supported approach across additional products and workflows to further enhance collaboration and decision-making.
