Bandai Namco announced the Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero – Super Limit-Breaking Neo DLC, scheduled for release on July 30, 2026. The expansion introduces approximately 30 new playable characters, including Mercenary Tao and Grandpa Gohan, alongside four new destructible stages: Kami’s Palace, Kame House, Bitter Tundra, and Stratosphere (Earth and Planet Vegeta).

The DLC includes a new solo mode titled Limit Breaker Journey, where players select a character and develop their abilities through an interactive map. Battles and encounters grant experience points and Battle Arts, which can be equipped using SP to enhance ki-based attacks or Sparking mode attributes. Players may face special conditions, Dragon Ball collection events, and challenging enemies as they progress.

Character customization is central to Limit Breaker Journey, allowing players to allocate points across six stats to tailor their fighter’s playstyle.
