For GTA 6, Xbox Put an Xbox Series X in an Alligator
Microsoft unveiled a working Xbox Series X encased in a custom animatronic alligator named Xbox Series X-BITE, offering one fan a chance to win it via a 2026 sweepstakes.
Microsoft and Florida wildlife enthusiasts received an unusual surprise with the reveal of the Xbox Series X-BITE, a fully functional Xbox Series X housed inside a life-sized animatronic alligator. The custom console, measuring over five feet in length, features glowing Xbox Nexus branding and a controller positioned between its jaws. The project was crafted by John Nolan Studio, known for animatronics in films like Jurassic World Dominion and HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series.
The alligator’s design includes green eyes with Nexus-inspired pupils, giving it a lifelike appearance as if ready to ‘take a bite’ out of a gaming backlog. Inside the creature’s body, the Xbox Series X remains operational, though Microsoft emphasizes it is intended for display purposes only. The studio used 3D modeling, sculpting, and fabrication to create the oversized reptile.
There is only one Xbox Series X-BITE in existence, and Microsoft is offering fans a chance to win it through a sweepstakes running from November 3 to November 10, 2026. The giveaway is open exclusively to legal residents of the United States aged 18 and older, with no purchase necessary to enter.
Participants can enter via X, Instagram, or TikTok by following @Xbox, reposting the designated sweepstakes post, and including #XbiteSweepstakes. Accounts must be public, and the winner will have 48 hours to respond after being contacted. Official sweepstakes rules are available for review.
