How to get Sephiroth's Vision in Final Fantasy Resonance
Sephiroth’s Vision in Final Fantasy Resonance requires defeating him as a boss, accessible via an airship in Chapter 5. The fight spans three phases with high difficulty and unique mechanics.
Sephiroth’s Vision in Final Fantasy Resonance is initially locked and requires defeating him as a boss rather than finding him in a shrine. The Vision becomes available after obtaining the airship in Chapter 5, leading to a whirlpool north of the bridge to Grandshelt’s desert. Entering the whirlpool triggers a standard Vision shrine prompt, but interacting with the crystal reveals a challenge must be completed first. Sephiroth’s Vision is not granted immediately, as the fight serves as the prerequisite to unlock it.
The boss fight against Sephiroth is divided into three phases, each introducing new mechanics and vulnerabilities. Sephiroth starts with 250,000 HP at level 45, and unprepared players will struggle despite his straightforward appearance. The first phase alternates between physical and magical attacks, with Sephiroth casting spells like Masamune in Waiting and Heartless Angel. Players must adapt strategies quickly, as his attacks scale in intensity and include mechanics like reducing party HP to one.
Upon reaching 200,000 HP, Sephiroth becomes temporarily invulnerable before transitioning to phase two, marked by casting One-Winged Angel. This phase introduces elemental weaknesses and counters, requiring players to avoid attacking with the wrong element or risk dealing no damage. Heartless Angel resets the party’s HP to one, necessitating protective measures like the Warrior of Light Vision’s Multi-Cover skill to mitigate damage.
The final phase begins at 50,000 HP, where Sephiroth casts Divine Proclamation and Heartless Angel again, initiating a countdown meteor that ends the fight if it reaches zero. Sephiroth absorbs dark element attacks and becomes weak to light, making non-dark abilities the primary damage source. Sephiroth’s Vision grants powerful abilities like True Octaslash, which deals non-elemental physical damage with guaranteed critical hits when paired with mastery bonuses.
