Huntr/x Returns in Surprise New KPop Demon Hunters Short
Netflix released a new choreography video for Huntr/x’s 'How It's Done' from KPop Demon Hunters, teasing more dance routines and behind-the-scenes content this week.
Netflix has unveiled a new short video featuring the full choreography for Huntr/x’s 'How It's Done,' a track from the 2025 animated musical adventure *KPop Demon Hunters*. The clip, released Monday, shows Rumi, Mira, and Zoey practicing the dance steps, which in the film are performed during an airborne battle. The video offers a glimpse into the trio’s concert performance, though it focuses primarily on the choreography itself. Netflix describes the release as 'just the opening act' for a series of new KPop Demon Hunters content.
The new choreography video appears to be set after the events of the film, as Rumi is shown displaying her demonic patterns—a closely guarded aspect of her persona in the movie. The video is part of a broader rollout of official choreography routines for other tracks, including 'Golden,' 'Takedown,' 'Soda Pop,' and 'Your Idol.' These full-length routines will be shared on Netflix’s social channels and its Tudum blog this week, with the original choreographers performing the moves instead of the characters.
Netflix has been actively promoting *KPop Demon Hunters* since its June 2025 release, releasing an alternate sing-along version, lyric videos, bonus features, and even a themed fireplace video featuring the villain Gwi-Ma. The streamer has also expanded into merchandise, including American Girl dolls and Lego sets. The sequel’s development was confirmed in March through a multiyear writing and directing partnership with directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans.
The sequel to *KPop Demon Hunters* does not yet have an announced release date, but reports suggest it won’t arrive before 2029. The original film became Netflix’s most-watched movie of all time, earned two Oscar nominations, won a Grammy, and topped charts with its soundtrack. The sequel aims to build on the phenomenon, though no further details about its plot or production timeline have been revealed.
