Snowflake opened its first French headquarters in Paris on July 2, 2026, to support local AI and data innovation, with 2,700 square meters of collaborative workspaces for customers and partners.

Snowflake inaugurated its new French headquarters at 44 Rue de Châteaudun in Paris’s 9th arrondissement, marking its first office in France designed to reflect the company’s culture. The 2,700 square meter space includes meeting rooms, customer engagement areas, and venues for technical workshops and training sessions, aimed at accelerating AI adoption among French organizations. The move underscores Snowflake’s long-term commitment to the French market, where it now supports over 530 enterprise and SMB customers, including major firms like Sanofi, Accor, and TF1.
The Paris office launch coincides with France’s growing role as a European AI and data innovation hub, supported by a robust startup ecosystem and world-class research. Snowflake’s local team has expanded from three employees in 2017 to around 175 today, reflecting the country’s strategic importance. The company also achieved Hébergeur de Données de Santé (HDS) Certification Version 2, enabling it to securely support healthcare and life sciences workloads for eight leading French organizations.
Snowflake’s new office will host ecosystem initiatives, including partnerships with Station F and programs like Snowflake Ventures and F/ai, which support French startups such as Mistral AI, Dust, and those in the French Tech Next40/120. The company collaborates with over 25 Next40/120 companies and 50% of the top 20 firms in the 2026 FinTech 100 ranking, reinforcing its ties to France’s tech and venture capital landscape.
The announcement follows Snowflake’s strong first-quarter fiscal 2027 results, reporting $1.39 billion in total revenue, a 33% year-over-year increase. With more than 13,600 customer accounts globally using Snowflake AI features weekly, the Paris office aims to further strengthen collaboration with French innovators and enterprises as AI reshapes business operations across the region.
