Backpack Securities listed tokenized SpaceX shares ($SPCX) on Solana via Sunrise during SpaceX’s IPO, enabling 24/7 onchain trading with dividend eligibility and brokerage transfers. The $13M allocation was fully subscribed in 30 minutes, with $108M in 24-hour volume, while Backpack’s public beta expanded to include US stocks, ETFs, and perpetual futures under New York law. Solana’s real-world asset (RWA) value exceeded $3B for the first time in June, with cumulative tokenized-stock volume surpassing $10B and daily tokenized-stock volume reaching $683M. Raydium’s tokenized equities alone recorded $2B in cumulative volume, while a mid-June week saw $1.29B in tokenized-equity trading—95% of the total across all blockchains. Moody’s credit ratings were embedded onchain via Alpha Ledger, and Solana’s onchain spot volume outperformed Coinbase and Kraken in daily and weekly metrics.
Mastercard integrated always-on stablecoin settlement on Solana, enabling intraday, weekend, and holiday settlements using regulated stablecoins, connecting onchain transactions to a global payments network of 3.7 billion cards. The World Series of Poker accepted crypto buy-ins on Solana for the first time, processing over $10M in June with no processing fees.
