Sonos Partners with Škoda to Bring Premium Sound to the All-New Peaq
Sonos and Škoda announced a partnership to integrate a premium in-car sound system into the new Škoda Peaq, available as part of the optional Relax Package.
The useful question is what changes for users, developers or buyers, and whether the announcement stays industry context or becomes something people can actually use.
Sonos, a leading audio company, will serve as Škoda’s audio partner for the all-new Peaq, its flagship electric vehicle. The collaboration focuses on designing the in-cabin listening experience, ensuring music, voice, and entertainment are optimized for the vehicle. Sonos CEO Tom Conrad emphasized the natural extension of the company’s philosophy into automotive spaces, highlighting the importance of sound quality in cars.
The Sonos premium sound system for the Peaq is available as part of the optional Relax Package. It has been custom-engineered for the vehicle, with sound tuned to match the artist’s intent. Components were specifically developed for the Peaq, delivering deep bass, a focused soundstage, and balanced audio across all seats.
Spatial audio technology enhances the listening experience, making the cabin feel like a dedicated space for sound. Every element, from speakers to tuning, was designed to reflect Sonos’ expertise in high-fidelity audio. The system aims to provide a consistent and immersive experience for all passengers.
