SUBARU ANNOUNCES PRICING ON 2027 SUBARU IMPREZA, MOST AFFORDABLE ALL-WHEEL DRIVE COMPACT CAR ON SALE IN U.S.
Subaru announced the 2027 Impreza will start at $24,595, $2,000 less than the outgoing model, making it the most affordable all-wheel-drive compact car in the U.S. when it goes on sale later this year.
Subaru of America, Inc. announced the 2027 Subaru Impreza will have a starting MSRP of $24,595, a $2,000 reduction compared to the previous model. The compact all-wheel-drive hatchback will be offered in base and RS trim levels, with sales beginning later in 2026. The base trim includes a 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER engine paired with a Lineartronic CVT and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, along with standard features such as EyeSight Driver Assist Technology and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility.
The 2027 Impreza lineup retains the same powertrain across trims, featuring a 180-horsepower engine, steering wheel paddle shifters, and an 8-speed manual mode. The base trim offers 20.4 cubic feet of cargo space with rear seats upright and 56.0 cubic feet with seats folded. Interior upgrades include revised stitching on the center console and updated door panel materials. The base model also includes dark gray 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, and USB-A and USB-C charging ports.
The RS trim, priced at $29,495, adds exterior styling elements such as dark gray 18-inch alloy wheels, a Crystal Black Silica roof spoiler, and fog lights. Inside, it features a 11.6-inch Multimedia System with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, SiriusXM with 360L, and a wireless smartphone charger. Standard features include an all-weather package with heated front seats, mirrors, and windshield wiper de-icer, along with Blind-Spot Detection and Emergency Lane Keep Assist.
The 2027 Impreza will be available in six exterior colors, including the newly offered Ignition Red, with Citron Yellow Pearl premium paint available for an additional $395. The vehicle is assembled in Gunma, Japan, and will arrive at U.S. dealerships in late 2026. Destination and delivery fees vary by state, ranging from $1,245 to $1,395.
