Subaru of America confirmed the 2027 Subaru Trailseeker EV will begin at $39,995 MSRP, matching the outgoing model’s starting price. The all-electric SUV offers standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, a 14-inch touchscreen, and up to 281 miles of range. Trim levels include Premium, Limited, and Touring, with the vehicle featuring 8.5 inches of ground clearance and the X-MODE Dual-Mode System for off-road capability. The Trailseeker accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds, making it Subaru’s quickest U.S. model to date.

The Trailseeker’s powertrain includes a 74.7-kWh lithium-ion battery with a standard NACS charge port, enabling access to over 25,000 charging stations across North America. It can charge from 10% to 80% in 28 minutes at up to 150 kW on DC-fast chargers. A battery-preconditioning system allows efficient charging in temperatures as low as 14°F. The SUV provides up to 31.3 cubic feet of cargo space and a 700-pound static load capacity on standard roof rails, with a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.

Inside, the Trailseeker features a 14-inch touchscreen, StarTex upholstery on all trims, and metallic finishes emphasizing a horizontal design theme. The Premium trim includes wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, EyeSight driver assist, heated front seats, and a power rear gate. All models come with EyeSight features such as Pre-Collision Braking, Lane Departure Alert, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. Additional standard equipment includes Blind Spot Monitors, automatic windshield wipers, and headlight washers.

The Limited trim adds a digital key, Harman Kardon audio, heated rear seats, and a 120-volt AC outlet for $43,995, while the Touring trim includes a panoramic glass roof, ventilated seats, and optional leather upholstery for $46,555. The Trailseeker is available in six colors, with optional two-tone paint and leather upgrades on the Touring model. Assembly occurs in Japan, with destination and delivery fees varying by state.
