DeepBook App Is Live: Onchain Power for Serious Traders

The DeepBook Trading Foundation has introduced DeepBook App, providing traders direct access to Sui’s shared order book, which has processed over $20 billion in trading volume across more than 15 applications. The app prioritizes self-custody, allowing users to retain control of their funds while trading on a platform audited with an active bug bounty program. According to Adeniyi Abiodun, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Mysten Labs, DeepBook App extends Sui’s capability to move money as fast as messages into a streamlined trading experience.

DeepBook App launches with two core features: Spot trading and Predict. Spot trading gives users direct access to Sui’s central limit order book, where bids and asks are matched onchain by price and time. Supported trading pairs include SUI/USDC, xBTC/USDC, DEEP/USDC, and WAL/USDC, with additional pairs expected to be added over time. The app provides real-time market data for the latest supported trading options.

Predict introduces a flexible prediction market model where traders can select specific price levels or ranges instead of predefined yes/no outcomes. Initially launching with BTC across multiple timeframes, Predict allows traders to take views on price movements as short as one minute or as long as two weeks. The feature is powered by a peer-to-pool options primitive and a volatility oracle from Block Scholes, enabling dynamic pricing for any user-selected level or range.

The app emphasizes speed and versatility, offering 1-click trading to reduce friction between positions. Funds settle entirely onchain with no house account or withdrawal delays, and trades in one market do not interfere with others due to Sui’s parallel execution. DeepBook App is now live on Sui mainnet, accessible at app.deepbook.xyz for users to connect their wallets and begin trading.
