Vercel has made Ling 3.0 Flash Fin, a finance-focused variant of Ling 3.0 Flash, available on AI Gateway at no cost through September 25. The model supports a 256K-token context window and generates up to 32K output tokens, enabling multi-step financial workflows that involve tool calls before delivering responses. It is designed for financial research and analysis tasks requiring detailed reasoning.
After September 25, users must switch to the standard model ID, inclusionai/ling-3.0-flash-fin, to continue using the model at regular pricing. Alternatively, a free-only model ID, inclusionai/ling-3.0-flash-fin-free, will return an error after the promotional period ends to prevent unexpected charges. The free offer applies only during the specified window.
To integrate Ling 3.0 Flash Fin with a coding agent, users must run vercel ai-gateway coding-agents setup and select the appropriate model ID. The setup process remains unchanged, but the model selection now includes the new finance-focused option. Documentation and guides are available to assist with configuration.
