AGCO realigns executive leadership to advance its precision agriculture growth strategy, naming Damon Audia President of PTx & Corporate Strategy and Indira Agarwal as CFO effective August 1, 2026.
The useful question is what changes for users, developers or buyers, and whether the announcement stays industry context or becomes something people can actually use.
AGCO Corporation announced executive leadership changes effective August 1, 2026, with Damon Audia appointed President of PTx & Corporate Strategy, overseeing precision agriculture and enterprise strategy. Audia succeeds Brian Sorbe, who is leaving to pursue other priorities. AGCO’s CEO Eric Hansotia highlighted Audia’s role in forming the PTx Trimble Joint Venture and his focus on long-term growth for the precision agriculture business. The move integrates corporate strategy into PTx to support AGCO’s key growth initiative.
Indira Agarwal was named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, replacing Audia. Agarwal joined AGCO in 2024 as Chief Accounting Officer and has led financial reporting improvements and transformation efforts. Hansotia praised her global experience in accounting, financial reporting, and M&A, noting her leadership in efficiency and profitability initiatives. Agarwal will continue leading AGCO’s accounting organization during the search for a successor.
The leadership changes aim to align AGCO’s executive team with its growth strategy, particularly in precision agriculture under the PTx brand. Audia previously served as CFO since 2022, overseeing finance, M&A, and corporate strategy, with prior roles at Kennametal, Carpenter Technology, and Goodyear. Agarwal brings over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, and regulatory compliance from roles at HF Sinclair, Cardtronics, and Direct Energy.
