Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion is now available in GovCloud Regions

Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion, a fully managed data ingestion tier, is now accessible in AWS GovCloud (US-East) and AWS GovCloud (US-West) regions. This service allows customers to ingest, process, filter, transform, redact, and route data into Amazon OpenSearch Service managed clusters or serverless collections without requiring manual infrastructure management. The service automatically scales resources to handle varying workload demands, reducing operational overhead for users.

The expansion brings the total number of supported AWS regions for Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion to 19, including the newly added GovCloud regions alongside existing locations such as US East (N. Virginia), Europe (Ireland), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo). This move aligns with AWS’s commitment to providing compliant and secure cloud services for government and regulated workloads in the United States.

Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion operates as a no-code solution, enabling users to configure data processing pipelines without writing custom code.
