Bentley Education provides students and educators with no-cost access to over 50 industry-standard software tools used in civil engineering, CAD, and infrastructure design. The program includes real-world learning resources and a global user community to enhance practical education. Eligible users can create a free account and download software through a guided process supported by instructional videos. The initiative targets those preparing for careers in infrastructure development by offering hands-on experience with professional-grade tools.

The software suite covers multiple disciplines, including bridge design with OpenBridge Designer, structural modeling with ProStructures, and roadway design with OpenRoads Designer. Additional tools support conceptual planning, water systems, and sewer modeling, such as OpenRoads ConceptStation and OpenFlows Water. Rail and tunnel design are addressed through OpenRail Designer and OpenTunnel Designer, while MicroStation serves as a central platform for architectural and engineering documentation.

Specialized applications like Bentley LumenRT enable cinematic visualization of infrastructure designs, and OpenBuildings Designer supports building analysis and documentation. Structural analysis is covered by STAAD, while SYNCHRO offers digital construction workflows. Reality capture tools, including iTwin Capture Modeler and PLAXIS 3D/2D, provide advanced modeling and geotechnical analysis capabilities for complex projects.

The program’s resources are designed to align with academic and project needs, offering tools for conceptual evaluation, detailed design, and operational planning. Bentley Education emphasizes accessibility, with an interactive diagram to help users select appropriate software for their courses or areas of interest. The initiative reflects Bentley Systems’ commitment to fostering technical skills among the next generation of engineers and designers.
