The BMW PGA Championship returns to Wentworth Club for its 22nd edition from 15 to 20 September 2026, marking the DP World Tour’s flagship tournament in the UK and Europe. The event, held in partnership with BMW, will welcome 120,000 spectators to an elite field of players competing for the coveted title. Defending champion Alex Norén headlines a lineup that includes Major winners, former champions, and top international players, all vying for a share of the prize purse.
The tournament’s signature feature is the BMW Hole-in-One Prize at the iconic 14th hole, where professionals can select one of ten BMW models before competing. The first player to score a hole-in-one at this hole will win their chosen car or the new BMW iX5. The Championship Village will showcase BMW’s latest electric models, including the BMW i3, BMW i7, and BMW iX5, alongside a Trackman simulation of the West Course’s 18 holes.
Visitors can participate in the BRING YOUR M GAME challenge, testing skills in Power, Precision, and Performance to earn a personalised BMW M bag tag. The best performer of the day wins a BMW Driving Experience. The Festival of Golf also includes a Celebrity Pro-Am on Wednesday, featuring athletes and entertainers such as Gareth Bale, Robbie Fowler, and Eden Hazard.
Live music adds to the event’s atmosphere, with DJ Tony Perry performing on Friday, The Kooks on Saturday, and Ella Eyre closing the tournament on Sunday. The BMW PGA Championship blends competitive golf with entertainment, offering fans an immersive experience beyond the course.
