BMW M and BMW Motorrad are marking the Nürburgring’s centenary in 2027 with a joint edition of nine high-performance models, six from BMW M automobiles and three from BMW Motorrad. The lineup includes the BMW M2, M3 Sedan, M3 Touring, M4 Coupé, M5 Sedan, and M5 Touring, alongside the BMW M 1000 RR, M 1000 R, and M 1000 XR motorcycles. Each model features exclusive Nürburgring Green paint and design elements, reflecting the track’s legacy in road-legal vehicles.

The automobile models incorporate BMW M Ignite, a pre-chamber ignition system introduced in mid-2026 to improve efficiency under high load while maintaining performance. The design features model-specific graphics, green accents, and carbon components, with the M2, M3 Sedan, M4 Coupé, and M5 Sedan including stripes on their roofs. The motorcycles include carbon wheels, anniversary decals, and Alcantara seats with embroidered ‘100’ markings.

The BMW M 1000 RR, M 1000 R, and M 1000 XR motorcycles are each limited to 100 units globally, equipped with the M Track Package, Nürburgring Green paint, and a ‘one of 100’ marking on the airbox cover. The motorcycles also feature a painted fuel tank with Nordschleife decor, black rear swingarm, and an M motorcycle mat with the anniversary logo. The M 1000 RR emphasizes racetrack performance, the M 1000 R delivers Superbike agility, and the M 1000 XR combines stability with long-distance comfort.

The BMW M3 Sedan, M3 Touring, M4 Coupé, M5 Sedan, and M5 Touring will be available to order from September 2026, with the BMW M2 following in January 2027. Ordering details for the BMW Motorrad models will be announced separately. The edition reflects BMW’s long-standing relationship with the Nürburgring, where all production vehicles are tested on the Nordschleife.
