BMW is offering M Performance Parts for the new BMW X5 and the first BMW iX5 to enhance aerodynamics and design. Components include carbon fibre front trims, a three-part front splitter, a roof spoiler, and rear diffuser blades. Exterior mirror caps and a rear diffuser are made from aramid, maintaining sensor functionality. Summer and winter complete wheels range from 21 to 23 inches, with a 23-inch bicolor wheel as a highlight.
A planned M Performance Sound silencer system and tail pipe finishers are set for specific markets outside Europe, targeting future V8 engine models. These parts aim to refine the vehicles' sporty appearance while improving aerodynamic performance. The offerings are tailored to complement the redesigned kidney grille and other exterior features.
Functional accessories include three sizes of BMW Aero roof boxes (350, 450, or 550 litres), each offering 30 litres more capacity than predecessors. Matching luggage bags and a rear box with 300 litres of storage space are also available. The accessories are designed for durability, featuring ballistic polyester and ergonomic handles.
Holders and adapters for the Travel & Comfort System expand rear-seat utility, with options for smartphones and tablets.
