This feature addresses critical issues in messaging programs such as delivery notifications, one-time passcodes, and time-sensitive alerts. The system monitors for delivery delays, failures, or drops in conversion to optimize routing paths dynamically.
Customers using phone pools will automatically benefit from this capability without any required action. For those not yet using phone pools, AWS provides instructions to create one. The feature is designed to maintain high deliverability rates even when external factors disrupt standard routing paths.
The automatic failover is available in all AWS Regions where AWS End User Messaging operates, ensuring broad accessibility for customers.
