CD PROJEKT purchased the Jagiellonska 74 building complex

CD PROJEKT RED, the developer behind The Witcher series, GWENT, and Cyberpunk 2077, announced the purchase of the Jagiellonska 74 building complex in Warsaw. The transaction marks a strategic move to consolidate operations under one ownership structure. The company has operated from this location for over two decades, housing teams responsible for game development and infrastructure. The acquisition aligns with CD PROJEKT’s long-term vision to shape its headquarters according to internal needs rather than leasing arrangements.

The deal expands CD PROJEKT’s total controlled space to over 24,000 square meters, including more than 18,000 square meters of office floor area. This follows the 2018 purchase of the neighboring Jagiellonska 76 building, which was integrated into the company’s operations. The combined footprint provides additional room for growth and operational flexibility. CD PROJEKT emphasized the importance of owning the space to support its evolving business requirements.

Adam Kiciński, CEO of CD PROJEKT, stated that the company has developed its games and infrastructure at Jagiellonska 74 for over 20 years. The purchase reflects a commitment to maintaining the headquarters as a permanent and adaptable base. Kiciński highlighted the opportunity to shape the environment to meet the company’s vision without constraints imposed by leasing terms. The acquisition underscores CD PROJEKT’s focus on long-term stability and operational autonomy.
