Lenovo 360 Circle: Building Sustainability Expertise Across the Partner Ecosystem
Lenovo and ClimateChoice launched Lenovo 360 Circle to help partners measure and improve sustainability performance through benchmarking and structured learning, with the 2026 benchmark showing a 12-point average score increase across the ecosystem.
The useful question is what changes for users, developers or buyers, and whether the announcement stays industry context or becomes something people can actually use.
Lenovo has partnered with ClimateChoice, an independent climate intelligence organization, to launch Lenovo 360 Circle, a global sustainability community designed to assist partners in building sustainability capabilities. The initiative provides a structured framework for benchmarking climate maturity, enabling organizations to measure progress, identify gaps, and develop actionable roadmaps for improvement across areas such as decarbonization, governance, and emissions performance.
The 2026 ClimateChoice Benchmark assessed the climate performance of Lenovo’s international channel partners within the 360 Circle community, revealing a 12-point increase in the average ClimateChoice Score, reaching 54 out of 100. The most significant improvements were observed in Decarbonization Measures (+14 points), Strategy & Control (+13 points), and Emissions Performance (+13 points), indicating a shift from planning to execution within the partner ecosystem.
To translate benchmarking insights into practical action, Lenovo and ClimateChoice are expanding their collaboration to include a dedicated masterclass series developed with Five Glaciers. The program focuses on strengthening foundational skills in carbon accounting, decarbonization roadmapping, and governance, equipping partners with the tools needed to navigate regulatory complexity and evolving market demands.
The Lenovo 360 Circle community serves as a model for ecosystem engagement by annually benchmarking climate maturity, identifying improvement areas, and tracking progress toward shared sustainability targets. By fostering collaboration among partners, industry experts, and Lenovo leaders, the initiative aims to embed sustainability into long-term business strategies, helping organizations differentiate their offerings and support customer sustainability objectives.
