The useful question is what changes for users, developers or buyers, and whether the announcement stays industry context or becomes something people can actually use.

The IEEPA tariff program, introduced in February 2025 and expanded through April 2025, was ruled invalid by the U.S. Supreme Court in February 2026. The Court of International Trade subsequently ordered refunds for affected importers, with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection establishing a dedicated refund process. Phase 1 of the refund claims opened on April 20, 2026, while Phase 2, which includes the majority of Electrolux Group’s relevant entries, opened on June 29, 2026.

Electrolux Group has submitted refund claims under Phase 2, which will result in a non-recurring positive item of approximately USD 61 million recognized in operating income for Region North America in Q2 2026. An additional USD 27 million related to Q1 2026 will be recorded as part of cost of goods sold (COGS) in the same region during the same quarter. These adjustments reflect the company’s financial recovery from previously paid tariffs.

The interim report for Q2 2026, including these financial impacts, is scheduled for publication on July 29, 2026, at approximately 07:00 CEST. The report will provide updated financial figures reflecting the refund claims and their effects on the company’s regional performance.

As a result of this announcement, Electrolux Group will prepare and publish a supplement to the rights issue prospectus issued on May 28, 2026. The supplement, subject to approval by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, will be published once finalized. This disclosure is required under the EU Market Abuse Regulation.
