The Ethereum Foundation has opened ticket sales for Devcon 8, scheduled for November in Mumbai. General Admission tickets are available without restrictions, with the first sale wave launching on July 14 at a set price. Early purchase ensures the lowest remaining price, while discounted tickets are offered for Indian residents, students, and other eligible groups. All tickets include four-day access, catering, and event swag, with no application required for General Admission or most discounts.

Discounted tickets for Devcon 8 target specific groups, including Indian residents, students, public-goods contributors, and core developers. These tickets are reviewed in batches and are non-transferable, with limited availability. Eligible attendees are encouraged to apply early to secure a spot. The foundation also invites community-led initiatives to apply for Community Hubs, which provide dedicated spaces for workshops, discussions, and networking.

Community Hubs at Devcon 8 will allow groups focused on Ethereum, open source, privacy, and public-interest technology to host their own programming. Selected hubs can organize workshops, roundtables, and onboarding sessions, provided they are community-driven and free from promotional content. Applications for Community Hubs are open via the Devcon Forum, with details available in the Request for Proposals.

Beyond attendance, teams can engage with Devcon 8 through the Supporters Program or by applying to speak. The Supporters Program invites ecosystem projects to showcase their work and connect with users, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis. Speaker applications are open to all, with selected presenters receiving complimentary tickets. The event will feature over 10,000 attendees across nine tracks, including Core Protocol, Privacy, and Governance.
