Framework Laptop 13 Pro introduces a ground-up redesign with a 74Wh battery, Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, and LPCAMM2 memory, delivering a significant battery life improvement. Pre-orders start at $1,199 for DIY Edition and $1,499 for pre-built configurations, with shipments beginning in June. The laptop retains Framework’s repairable and upgradeable design while incorporating a new full CNC aluminum chassis and a purpose-built power-optimized display with touch support.

The new model features Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 processors, offering up to 16 cores and heterogeneous tiled architecture for improved efficiency. LPCAMM2 memory modules in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB capacities enable higher bandwidth and power efficiency, while a 74Wh battery provides up to 20 hours of Netflix 4K streaming—12 hours longer than the previous generation. The system also includes PCIe 5.0 support for NVMe storage up to 8TB, Wi-Fi 7, and four Thunderbolt 4 ports via the Expansion Card system.

The display is a 13.5-inch 3:2 panel with 2880x1920 resolution, 1800:1 contrast, and per-unit color calibration, now supporting touch and a 30-120Hz variable refresh rate. The chassis is fully machined from 6063 aluminum, weighing 1.4kg while maintaining the same dimensions. New features include a haptic touchpad, refined keyboard with two color options, and Dolby Atmos-enabled audio with improved speaker placement for better clarity.

Framework Laptop 13 Pro offers pre-built configurations with Ubuntu or Windows 11, alongside a DIY Edition for custom builds. The laptop is also available with AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series options and a new three-year warranty for U.S. customers. Existing Framework Laptop 13 owners can upgrade components like the mainboard, display kit, or chassis parts to access new features, ensuring cross-generation compatibility.
