The Witcher 3 hits its highest-ever Steam concurrent player count following Remastered launch

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt achieved its highest-ever concurrent player count on Steam following the launch of CD Projekt Red's free Remastered edition. At the time of reporting, over 120,000 players were active on the platform, placing the game just outside Steam's top ten most-played titles in the last 24 hours. This figure surpasses previous highs, including a 2015 launch peak of 92,000 players and a 103,000 peak in January 2020 during the height of Netflix's Witcher series popularity.

The Remastered edition, available at no cost to owners of any existing version, includes the Hearts of Stone and Blood of Wine expansions without additional charges.
