Evolve your marketing with new AI tools
Google is integrating AI tools into Google Ads and Google Analytics to automate data summaries, generate custom reports via text prompts, and benchmark performance against similar businesses, aiming to streamline marketing workflows and decision-making.
Google announced new AI-driven features for Google Ads and Google Analytics designed to simplify data analysis and campaign management. Users can now access AI-generated summaries on homepages, create visual reports using text prompts, and compare performance against anonymized industry benchmarks. These tools are intended to reduce manual analysis time and help marketers act on insights more quickly. The updates are available immediately for logged-in users.
The company introduced Ask Advisor, an AI agent embedded in its marketing platforms, to provide real-time performance insights and strategic recommendations. New agentic capabilities in Google Ads and Google Analytics aim to enhance decision-making by surfacing timely trends, such as seasonal sales peaks or traffic changes. Marketers can now receive AI-powered summaries via email or phone notifications, allowing them to stay informed without constant manual checks.
Google Analytics now features AI Overviews on the homepage, offering instant summaries of key performance updates since the last login. A single click on highlighted data cards can trigger deeper analysis through Ask Advisor. The revamped Google Ads homepage includes personalized AI insights cards to help users adjust strategies in response to emerging demand or competitor activity. A prompt box enables custom insight generation based on user queries.
A new Dashboards feature in Google Ads (and soon in Google Analytics) allows users to convert raw data into visual reports using simple text prompts. Each report includes an automatic real-time summary explaining the underlying trends. Additionally, a benchmarking tool in Google Analytics compares campaign performance against anonymized averages from similar businesses, helping marketers identify growth opportunities and refine their approaches with data-backed context.
