Gemini Notebook introduces a guided creation flow for slide decks and video overviews, allowing users to shape content from the start rather than receiving a finished product immediately. The process begins with a prompt in the chat, after which Notebook suggests topics based on provided sources. Users can then confirm or refine these suggestions before moving forward.

For greater control, a new Review toggle lets users preview and adjust plans in the studio panel. Slides can be reviewed via "Review outline notes," while video plans are accessed through "Review producer notes." Users may request changes such as adding an executive summary or reordering scenes before any rendering begins.

If users already know their desired output, they can bypass the guided steps and go straight to the review flow by specifying their requirements in the prompt. This streamlines the process for those with clear objectives while maintaining flexibility for iterative refinement.

The co-creation features are rolling out globally to all Gemini Notebook users over the next week. Those preferring a quick output can still skip the review toggle and generate artifacts directly from the studio panel as before.
