Hyundai Motor Provides Official Protocol Vehicles For the First Korea–Central Asia Summit 2026
Hyundai Motor will supply 33 Genesis sedans for transport during the First Korea–Central Asia Summit 2026 in Seoul, marking Korea’s first multilateral leaders’ summit with Central Asian nations.
Hyundai Motor Company announced it will provide official protocol vehicles for the First Korea–Central Asia Summit 2026, scheduled for September 16, 2026, in Seoul. The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Preparatory Office for the summit at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The agreement was formalized in a ceremony attended by Deputy Foreign Minister Chung Eui-hae and Hyundai’s Senior Vice President Dong Jo Kim, alongside government and corporate officials.
The summit will convene heads of state and senior officials from Korea and five Central Asian nations—Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan—to discuss economic, diplomatic, and trade cooperation. Hyundai will supply 33 Genesis G90 and G80 sedans for the duration of the event to transport leaders and dignitaries. The company emphasized its experience in supporting major international events as a basis for its involvement.
Hyundai described the provision of vehicles as part of its commitment to ensuring the summit’s successful execution, highlighting the Genesis brand’s global recognition for sophistication and quality. The company stated it would leverage its expertise in vehicle logistics for diplomatic events to facilitate seamless operations during the summit.
