Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the all-new TUCSON in New York City, showcasing its boldest SUV yet with a design philosophy centered on structural strength and commanding road presence. The vehicle’s exterior features pronounced muscular fenders, a longer and wider body, and improved pedestrian safety measures, including enhanced collision protection. The redesign also includes expanded door opening angles for easier entry and exit, reflecting a focus on practical usability alongside aesthetic appeal.
The interior of the all-new TUCSON prioritizes comfort and minimalism, with furniture-inspired elements such as soft cushioning, ergonomic controls, and a two-layered instrument panel. Key features include a 9.9-inch slim display, tactile buttons for HVAC and audio, and an extended console armrest for improved driver ergonomics. The cabin also offers advanced climate control options, including a three-zone HVAC system and a 13.5V heated glass with de-icing capabilities for harsh conditions.
Hyundai’s Next-generation Hybrid System drives the all-new TUCSON, emphasizing "Intelligent Efficiency" to balance fuel economy with driving performance. The system integrates advanced technologies such as Gleo AI and Smart Terrain Assist (STA) to enhance versatility across diverse driving conditions. The vehicle also debuts the rugged TUCSON XRT PRO variant, further expanding its off-road capabilities.
The all-new TUCSON introduces advanced lighting technologies, including H-Edge lighting, Prism Rear Lamps, and available Micro Pixel Lighting (MPL) with 25,600 individual LED pixels. These features enable precision beam patterns, dynamic welcome animations, and a high-tech rear signature. The vehicle’s dimensions have increased, with the long wheelbase model measuring 4,700 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, and 1,685 mm in height, providing additional interior space.
